I just got my 1981 Yamaha 650 Special II running after 15 years of sitting…I cleaned the spark plugs, got a new battery, cleaned out the carbs and gave it some new gas, and it started on the second kick. It wouldn’t idle untill it worked all the old gas out of its system, but it ran. Now all i gave to do is buy new tire trubes to replace the old dry rotted ones…
