Got most everything squared away. Have to put a timing light on it to fine tune out a hesitation on throttle, then a double check of carb settings and then it’s ready for a test ride!

I’ve been working on assembling a 1987 Harley-Davidson Softail Custom FXSTC, I got this bike as a basket case and this was the first time that I ever heard the motor run…what a great sound. You can probably tell from this video that I was stoked. I can’t wait to keep working on it and take it for my first ride…hopefully before it gets too cold!

This was an exciting moment, first start of my latest build – a 1200 Sporster with lightened flywheels and my first try on truing and balancing the crank. Sounds like there’s plenty of power. Your engine should be bapping not booping!
