Do you know if either bikes are easy to find for cheap cause ive been looking and either I can’t find any (Craigslist) or they want to much? really I just want one that a least has a good motor.
Thanks! It’s really easy, paint the tank flat black, then layer grey primer, red primer. Wet sand through the layers till you get the desired look. Final coat with satin clear.

Frame was not cut, it is stock. Looks smaller when you take all the extra crap off…
March 11th, 2011 at 10:14 am

I really enjoyed this video. When I got my 850 it was very similar to this unit. Very mice walkthrough of an unchanged early 80s classic.

Yea its a bit bigger and has pretty much the same look. I’ve thought about doing one of those beasts myself, have fun!
March 11th, 2011 at 2:34 pm
well we’ll give it a shot. Do you think even a GS1000 might be bigger and yet still get the cool rat rod look like your 850?
NICE BIKE BY THE WAY!! It really had inspired me.
