Suzuki Bobbers
This is the last update on my bike. I make some handle bars that i like, redid the seat pan, new rubber on it (bigger rear tire), and we made some custom exhause that exits by the front right of the motor with a baffle to keep back pressure. hope you enjoy it

@dittohead791 ohs, that works
August 11th, 2011 at 8:19 am
@NastytheGREASERZOMBI i took that into consideration. its internally baffled for restriction and back pressure.

dude, that exhaust is too short, you need at least a foot of pipe :/ it looks only like few inches from the right cylinder :/ awsome bike tho

@clive573 yeah, its exhaust off one of my friends race cars, just cobbled together. and yes, the wiring looks like a child did it on these bikes. watch out the voltage rectifiers are big trouble on these bikes and WILL go out sooner than later.

@dittohead791 is that exhaust tip off of a car? i have an 81 gs450t. i hate the way the exhaust looks. looks like a cone. was thinking of using a tip like yours but on both sides. your bike looks awesome. i also hate the factory wiring on these bikes. they look like hack jobs all tangled together. sucks tryin to sort through them all.

The licensing authority in Germany would to stick up that exhaust into my a*** hahahaa..;))
It doesn’t rely on bells and whistles

just show’s what you can acheive on a budget . Love the exhaust !

@dittohead791 The first thing I noticed was the welds. Yes it looks rough, Im guessing by the look of it it should be strong……….. However the cool part about metal is you can take away or add to it, plus if you really wanted you could grind the big bulbs of weld down. But I like what you said that it matches the bike.
Im not the best welder but try to go a lil faster when using a mig. BUT practice makes perfect (and a pile of metal you’ll never use…lol) All in all, I dig it.

Any chance of a vid with it running? Your exhaust setup’s neat,& bike’s cool.
August 11th, 2011 at 2:12 pm
Man it looks great & i bet it sounds even better i want to hear that wicked exhaust bro!!
August 11th, 2011 at 3:11 pm
@171apples171 Yeah, it was mig but still strong. The ugly welds go with the rest of the bike
August 11th, 2011 at 3:31 pm
The welds are just a bit buggery lookin but im one to talk. I can bearly arc weld anything:D that is a wicked bike. i like it.

@dubaron84 well, the model is a 240shinko, MT90H is the “size”. kinda goofy but thats what they call it i guess. much wider and taller, thats why no rear fender. only got about 1/4″ clearance to the chain and stuff now.
August 11th, 2011 at 5:26 pm
on the tire question u say 240 do u mean 140 maybe cuz 240 is super wide?
August 11th, 2011 at 5:28 pm
cool thanks. ya i figured it was something like that but wasnt sure. i also have a smaller peanut style tank i wanna use but i noticed that the o.g. tank has two lines comin off the petcock can i plug the vacum line and just use the other or do i need both for the carbs to work right? thanks for the help.
August 11th, 2011 at 5:59 pm
@dubaron84 ahhh, that is an EGR valve. in 1981 and up the EOA said bikes had to conform to emissions, so all they did was throw and EGR valve on it and said “we conform now”. Most dont work anymore anyways.
August 11th, 2011 at 6:03 pm
ya it does look insane. its cool ive never really seen a set up like that before. if i did something like that id get pulled over instantly. i live in cali, loud bikes are like donuts 2 cops they love em. one more question if u dont mind what is that little knob right under the carbs on the right side going into the head. its got a spring behind it and only turns one way? i cant figure out what thats for.
