sprocket/brake-disc combo looks like a bad idea. How do you keep your chain lubricated?
March 24th, 2011 at 6:45 pm
hey there,s a mixture chapter here it,s not how to bild a chopper 5 it,s a bobber n5, but i like this guy telling all the pass to bild it.

Not sure I like the idea of a sprocket/rotor combo. Generally centrifugal force would theoretically keep any chain lube to the outside edge but if some did on the pads..no back brakes.

Looks wicked, hope you dont mind but i’m designing a 125cc chopper (as atm, thats all i can legally ride ¬_¬) and i’ve used the general shape of your frame to base it upon
Love the colour of your frame btw, learnt alot about assembly watching all these vids of yours

@mddaredevil Its a hard tail Bobber thats why.
March 24th, 2011 at 9:21 pm
hey what kind of frames is that
March 24th, 2011 at 9:37 pm
The rear wheel will lift up, which will push through the frame into the front suspension, which will then push the rear wheel back into the ground. It is light enough that unless you hit a nasty bump going really fast it won’t do any damage.

ye, for the butt there is, but for the frame? you coult damage the frame without a suspension
March 24th, 2011 at 10:31 pm
@mddaredevil There’s rear suspension… don’t you see the springs in the seat?
March 24th, 2011 at 11:06 pm
just out of interest, how well does that rear brake work when the chain’s all greased up?
having a rear drive sprocket which also functions as a disk brake just seems to be asking for trouble.
surely you can’t be running on a dry chain?

Um, when the battery is dead, I just get my bike rolling, jump on, put it in gear, let off the clutch and start it that way. If you got a slope/hill somewhere close, all the better. To hell with kick starting.

why there is no rear suspension?like the ural’s have?
March 25th, 2011 at 12:07 am
is this what your dvds show, is it the same as it is on the videos in your dvd?

Hi,
I like the look of a kicker but also like the convenience of the electric start. Call me greedy but I wanted them both and either of them will work. For a couple years Harley also produced bikes with both options.
Thanks,
Michael Durham

why do you use a kick start transmission but with a turn key ignition? Is it for back-up in case the wires fail? Or am i wrong?
