Well I do a little sculpting and I can see how a few moulds would help but it takes real skill to complete a job like that, can you tell me what you use to avoid cracking?

I would argue that this would not be impossible to mold using for instance, a very flexible compound like liquid latex. I won’t however argue that it WAS molded. Investment casting maybe? That would be one of a kind. Nice work in any case, beautiful stuff.

…. drue blair does ;P worlds best airbrush artist XD and my idol. I was just saying that no matter how cool it is to everyone nothing is gonna trump the airbrush to me. If you go for a spill replacing airbrushing can be done but finding bones to fit the spots you have done what you have done may be a bit more tricky. None the less it is an awsome idea and i support it and i hope to see more of it! your truly talented my friend! never forget where you cam from XD!

I’d agree if this was made of molds or was moldable…it isn’t. If you knew about making molds you would know something of this scale has too many undercuts and lock in points to be molded. I also airbrushed bikes and cars for years…everyone has airbrush. Last show I was at had over 300 bikes, 250 of them at least had something airbrushed on them….I had the ONLY 1 with sculpture. Besides, I get paid $15k and up for a bike like this….you’ll never make that airbrushing.

i will say it’s nice but i will never in my life say it’s better then airbrushing not a chance in hell where those 3d molds came from once they are made they can be mass produced and then what everyone has the same thing on there bike and it’s no longer a one of a kind nor custom as where airbrushing is XD props but never forget the airbrush seeing how i’m one of the artist XD
